I have to disagree with everyone on here. Joshua Tree - Rattle & Hum & Elevation was U2 at their peak. Under a Blood Red Sky, Unforgettable Fire & Vertigo are up there too. Achtung Baby is their 2nd best album after Joshua Tree tour but this version of U2 performing wasn't my favorite. I've seen them 21 times & although I can't deny the grandeur of this tour, it wasn't my favorite. Still very good though. I loved their performance of Trying to Throw Your Arms Around the World. I was so happy to see it performed at the Sphere again.

@@tommycthulhu6572 Metallica was popular for about five years and then faded away into obscurity. The Black album is really their only real album. Guns N Roses.... same thing applies. They had a tremendous albeit short run at the top during the late 80's. Neither band is even in the same league as U2. If you want a comparable, how about the *Rolling Stones* ? U2 were the modern equivalent of the Beatles. Their popularity and their longevity is almost unmatched.

*That's the mark of a great band* . If they can perform their own songs as good or better live than in a studio, you know they're that d@mn good. If someone can only sound good in a studio with editing and multiple chances to do it over, then you know they're just a face and don't have any real talent behind it.

This was U2 at their very best-saw them in Belfast Botanic Gardens 26th Aug 1997 PopMart Tour. We watched from outside the venue as thousands did. People came out of their houses and flats to watch and listen. It was a great atmosphere, the young, the old, and the vaguely curious all watched and sang together-wonderful. Army recon plane flew through the spot lights pointed skywards during Bullet The Blue Sky- weird and yet magical.

A truly fantastic show, but it was almost the end. Prior to the 1st Sydney show, which was on the night prior to this one, Adam had an alcohol-induced blackout and missed the show. It was the first time since the early days of the band that one of them missed a gig. There was a lot of tension around this "betrayal" considering it was the much-hyped conclusion to the tour. But to Adam's credit, he pulled it together well enough to perform. He realised that he had let everyone down the prior night and wound up straightening up his life and getting sober. Otherwise, the bands fortunes might have been rather different.

I saw a KZbin zoo TV tour somewhere around 1993 I’ve seen everything from Aerosmith to David Bowie I’ve probably seen 100 or more concerts. And the zoo TV to her concert in West Palm Beach was the best I’ve ever seen to this day

U2 were the biggest band in the world at this time :) U2 is without a doubt THE BEST, GREATEST band of all. One reason why Zoo TV so totally rocked; Bono screaming his head off in falsetto!

The mysterious inspiration from this band makes me feel blessed here in my beautiful country: Cameroon. I'm wondering how many of my fellow citizens know about U2?

The 2 Zoo TV tours were magnificent. I caught the indoor show in San Diego and the Dodger Stadium & Jack Murphy stadium shows. All of them were just awesome. Great memories!

O U2 deveria fazer novamente este show como assim o fez com o Joshua tree . Este show não veio para o Brazil e para mim foi um dos melhores deles !!
