I remember Gastank quite well. At that time there were a lot of modish trendy/arty programmes around on the BBC and ITV, that presented all the latest acts [Soft Cell etc]. 'The Oxford Roadshow' was one of the main ones. I used to watch all of them, though at 24 I felt completely out of time. Gastank stood out as a bit old hat, though all the people on it were my heroes.
