I was raised Baptist, over the years morphed to "doubting" then to agnosticism and finally atheism because the Bible makes absolutely no sense. It's fine as a historical account--somewhat--but that's about it. I have no problem if someone wants to believe in the Magic Sky Pilot, but I don't dare share this point of view with my family or I'd be shunned. So much for "freedom of religion" or the lack thereof.
