Anne Frank bit was in poor taste.
@Debbie-henri8 ай бұрын
Within 24 hours of the 9/11 disaster, someone scrawled a joke about it on my workplace's whiteboard. And that's humanity for you, looking light during the world's darkest moments. Anne Frank is dead now. Dead. Not up in heaven crying her eyes out. With no descendants to get uppity and filing suits - and look how many other people laughed in the audience. They know it too. Don't get offended for the sake of the dead, who feel nothing now, like you're the morality police, or you end up living somewhere like Scotland, where mums now go into public female lavatories with their daughters, checking around to make sure there are no men in n there who conveniently declare themselves a woman a moment before following a pretty girl through the door. That's what all this over-sensitivity fosters. Sensitivity to more and more stuff until living people are put into 'real' danger. If we still had working class humour, the way it used to be in Britain, the way Ricky tells it,, where everyone was allowed to make jokes about everyone else, no matter your creed, it would be a happier and safer place.
