His story about the little red New Testament and what he discovered there, despite being raised in the church, reminds me of The Jesus I Never Knew book by Philip Yancey. Massively influential book in my life. Highly recommended.

Part of this interview struck me as particularly funny, and brought back a memory of Ricky lee saying you girls wanna be in our video? And I was like don’t call us we’ll call you kinda deal. Shortly afterward theirs a message on the machine telling us where to show up, and WE DID! next thing I know I’m sliding down a banister. 😂 Ricky lee is a great person. Had a blast making that video. Wow what a testimony good for you Ricky. I would love to meet you sometime if you're still performing I would love to hear your stuff. You need to go on the road to churches and give your testimony. Hopefully you would have me over at your house for dinner I think we would get along well .On a side note I always loved your and your brother's vocals always. You're right there Brother Phelps albums are precious. Let go where have I heard that before that will preach brother you didn't give an interview you just gave a sermon
