Ricky Skaggs and band had something really special going in those days. Ray Flacke on lead guitar, Bruce Bouton on steel, Bobby Hicks on fiddle, a great rhythm section, and Ricky's arrangements added up to near-perfection.

Best Effing Part Of Raw Deal is the opening credits set to this! Really gives the movie a high energy level right off the bat that sadly the rest of the movie can't quite reach! One day there's gonna be an amazing movie set to this tho. (it says something about how awesome a song this is because i think i saw raw deal maybe a week ago and while i've forgotten everything else about it this darn song--still locked in my brain!)

Beyond that, in my eyes with his work on Highways and Heartaches and on tour with Skaggs, he created Ricky Skaggs. Skaggs was smart; he hired Flacke.

I called his small guitar (When i got too see it backstage).......a Mini Tele!!.....but i dont remember seeing any Fender logo.....So im thinkin it.. and another one was a custom job for Skaggs.....Reguardless.......Me got to hold one in me arms!!!!
