For me, this song will always remind me of the summer of 2000 when I was 18 years old. It was one of the best times of my life. I was at college and then at weekends I saw my boyfriend who I was with at the time. He was the first person I’ve ever been with and we had some really good times together. On Saturdays we would go out dancing. It was a time of happiness and maybe naivete, and a time when the world felt filled with endless possibilities. I would love to have that feeling again.

I know this was originally performed by The Hooters but Ricky's version here is nothing short of entrancing, hypnotic, majestic, grandiose...just about any word that describes something so massive and powerful can be inserted here. The addition of Meja to this collaboration with her appearing both vocally and in the video however shines an unheard of depth of shimmer, poignancy, intricacy and depth making it ever more a timeless classic.

@@peacheskd I did too, I heard it at a dance and I wanted to dance with a girl to it but I was too shy to ask. I'm glad I could help with spreading that information. I believe The Hooters wrote and recorded it in 1993 as a ballad but Ricky's version here absolutely supercharged it and made it so unbelievably transcendent.
