That was an amazing video, seriously. I guess that I mentioned that before, but I think it is worth saying it again: to me, the most inspiring and enjoyable videos of your are those when it comes across that you are having fun yourself - and even more so when slightly unexpected things happen and you just go with it. It is those moments that get me up again (most of the times, that is) and just go and try something, even when it totally unrelated to what your video was about. That good fun you are having and the surprise you are enjoying, man, that sure is contagious - at least for me. And I appreciate it a lot! Thanks for that video!

Being more into psy/acid techno, I was really digging that last jam. With that mix of the faster tempo synced LFO with the other one, it has an almost clocked sample & hold like effect, but with repetition - I like it!

this is really good man, 1 thing i'd love to see is your full synthesis course, i've got a couple of books and online courses but they always seem to be explaining the same thing. i'd really love to see your course, you always come up with different modulation and signal path tricks which not a lot of guys speak about when they are exlpaining in depth...if you see this, please do a course bro.

I don't see why you couldn't use your synth workaround live while adjusting the LFO. Simply move the LFO to desired new position, set phase to 0deg, then as soon as beat 1 plays, set back to free. New LFO is now locked again.

@@mod.3x he recorded it in by hand so it was different everytime dont know if he did it all in one go or not but i read that in an article of his anyways, tho it could be that the bass in the rest of the song is automated by hand and the dubby part at the 6 min part is lfo, could be possible

ST has different LFO types like oneshot and synched. Together with the LFO trigger option in the trigger menu you can go really wild with it! 2 LFOs per track and 2 more on the FX track. 🤩

in my personal opinion Bass need to be tight with more focus on having a Deep Beautiful fondamenta tone/timbre that has depth, i think Bass don’t need modulation by LFOs as it creates just distraction because Bass is something perceived physically. My 2 cent are that BASS need just a wise use of Envelope, velocity/gate and manually twicking the Filter while following the track evolution, that approach in my opinion keeps bass interesting enough still not distractive ! Nice Bass to me is: A beautiful deep Oscillator + Snappy envelope + a beautiful ANALOG filter + short ripetitive catchy sequence + human real time twicking while recording like this guy here 👇🙂 kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4nXiYyif7F9q80feature=shared THO LFO are more useful for Pads/Leads.

This is really easy to do with Maths because it has two channels and two attenuverters. If Maths is synched with your clock it’s easy to send a reset signal and have the frequency match tempo :)
