It's been six years since I first saw this. I know Oona was in the Pete's Dragon remake and she did great. I suspect she decided Hollywood wasn't for her, otherwise she'd have an Oscar by now. I have a niece (Eleisha Miller) who was discovered by America's Got Talent, her family moved to Hollywood, and she got some parts. BUT Eleisha didn't like the madness of the industry and went back to a more normal life. I hope Oona is happy. I still come back to watch this video occasionally and will always think about her.

I don't know who this little actress is, but she is FABULOUS!! To be fair, the entire cast is wonderful, and they have a great script. Still, she is phenomenal as little "Penny". Her tone changes perfectly with the dialogue. She seems well beyond her years. I hope someone replies with other films or shorts she has done. EDIT: Watching it a second time, and I only know this b/c my one of my now adult daughters loved him, but when she smiles, she looks like she could be Justin Bieber's 7 or 7 ye old daughter. She has his mouth and facial stuctures.

If there were a way I could INVEST in Oona's future, I would. She'll get OscarS someday. I hope & pray she doesn't make a mess of her life the way Lindsay Lohan and many others have. I suspect a key problem with child stars is WE typecast them. We fail to allow them to become grown-up sexual adults. I could go into detail, but not the right forum.

BigSmiler! I couldn't agree more! Having had the privilege of sharing that set with her, I predicted back then that Oona would be a household name one day...even though she did hit me in the head with that damn shovel!!! Seriously, Oona is amazing! And her work on "The Southpaw" and "Bad Moms" should prove it. As for handling the "growing up" part, I have faith. Oona is grounded, extremely intelligent and has fantastic parents. Yeah, she is going to be a star and will always be the nicest person you'd ever want to know. Thanks for the kind words regarding Oona. Be well, my friend.
