RICOH GR III - MINT KOBE [ミント神戸] in SANNOMIYA [三宮] (Dramatic Monochrome)・JAPAN

This Photowalk takes place in the restaurant area in the basement of Mint Kobe (ミント神戸) in Sannomiya (三宮).
I set my Ricoh GR III in Snap Distance Priority to a Snap Priority Distance of 2m. The AE Metering was Multi-segment. I shot in JPG only (Dramatic Monochrome).
I decided to show all the photos even though some should have been deleted because I felt it's important to always show the good, the bad, and the ugly (e.g., completely blurry photos) in my run-and-gun style photo walks.

Your photos come alive when the subjects are closer to the camera which separates them from the distortion of the wide angle lens. They blend into the backgrounds when they are about 7m - 10m away. Then the photos become too 'snapshot'.

I agree. I find the GRIIIx is better for street photography because it allows you to get closer to the subject. With the GRIII, you need to get out of your comfort zone in order to make a more interesting composition. It's learning experience.
