So glad I saw this! I have a 12-needle machine but didn't buy the special cap hoop. Of course, now I'm getting requests for you know what, so I have to figure how to embroider them. This video was so helpful, and now I'm starting to think that maybe I can go after a slice of the hat pie after all, rather than sit on the sidelines doing tote bags all day. Thanks so much!

Hey there. Nice idea to hoop unstructured caps with flat hoops to save change over time. Wondering if you used just a standard 75/11 needle or a ball point on these types of caps? Great channel.

Loved the video. Really helpful. However, I got distracted by the auto text feature you are using. Every time you say "cap hoop" it turns it to "cat poop"!!! Also at 9:10 it says "sell my machine" I really would much rather "slow my machine" vs selling it. Also good to see you didn't get it centered. Every hat I do, usually has about 2-3 mishaps prior to it being satisfactory. Thanks again.

I bought a machine in 2016 and haven't used it yet. I skipped the one day training and now I have no idea where to start. Videos don't help me much. Can you tell me where I can get training in New York? I have a RCM-1501TC-7S and would be willing to pay for the training. Sydney Baird.

Hoop doesn't work well. Design is way too high on cap. There are flat frames for caps that work 10x better.
