First, Henry discusses why some people think you need to have loads of training in everything from sewing to graphic design, while others think embroidery is more “plug and play.” We find out where he stands on the subject of experience, and why.
Next, Henry talks about money, specifically how much you need to break into the embroidery business. He discusses whether you need a lot of upfront capital, the cost of entry to embroidery, and how much you can stand to make in profit.
Then, he’ll address some of the lies about the business side of the industry, and what it takes to market yourself as a custom apparel professional. He'll go over how much you have to spend on marketing, and how to find the tools to spread the word about your new business.

6:37 I bought a NEW Ricoma 12 needle machine just a few days ago and am told no software comes with my purchase. I live in Jamaica but am not sure if the region prevents me from getting a FREE digitizing software from the supplier here? Am of the impression that Ricoma is the same no matter your region of purchase.
