This thing is Gnarly! I drove the diesel the other week and all the torque really gives it an aggressive feel low in the rev range! Smooth ride on air suspension rounds out the elaborate luxury and makes it a Range Rover. Great car

Really cool they feature an activity key when you have to go to boating and theme parks. At least people don't have to worry about checking their pockets to see if they still have their keys.

I have owned 3 Range Rover Sports an Evoque and Porsche’s (911 and Macan). It’s a straightforward choice of style vs substance in my experience. I ended up rejecting both one of the RRS’s and the Evoque due to numerous issues and visits to the workshop. I was so fed up with the Evoque I took a refund and bought a BMW.. Both Porsche’s were bullet proof and in terms of driving experience vs the LR products, no contest. JLR win on styling but need to up their game on engineering.

Great vehicle until it breaks down...and it will. Instead of making faster, more luxurious and more technologically advanced vehicles, JLR should focus on making them more RELIABLE.

You misunderstand the range rover. Everything that makes a truck good offroad is directly contradictory to luxury and handling. Maximum ground clearance, minimum weight, simple as possible, understressed engine, and very agricultural looking. The Range Rover seeks to still be a good offroader while trying to be beautiful, powerful, luxurious and comfortable. It can only do this by using many many electronic tricks and computers and innovative workarounds. So its a very complex car that is intrinsically prone to failure. Its a toy for people who can afford to buy a new one every five years. For everyone who wants an unbreakable offroader, theres the landcruiser.

I have had 7 Range rovers and have only had trouble with one, the 2014 TDV6 that i have now has never missed a beat service it once a year 7lt/100 great off road great one road will be upgrading next year for sure

They do have reliability issues, its just not as bad as people make it seem... I know about 3 people that own and have owned LR products. Of these, only 1 had serious problems, and it wasn't even a Range Rover! By serious problems I mean one poblem, that was having the Turbos on his Discovery 4 molten (i got really shocked by it and even started talking poop about LR for everyone who asked me if they were any good). But, i have two other friends, one who owns an Evoque (Nothing but electrical problems a few times. Annoying? Yes! Serious? Not really, he could still drive it normally!), and the other one ows a RR Sport v8 SC, previously owned a 1st gen RR Sport, had one problem with the suspension on the 1st gen Sport, and that's it! I mean, sure they have problems, but its not as many as people suggest... Its not like your gonna turn it on every morning and it will show another issue! (Unless you won the lottery...)
