Just a quick little tow of a Jeep Grand Cherokee with transmission problems for a friend of mine

Look up a town in UK called Milton Keynes it has 130 roundabouts in one town and they are still building them. Slick enough. The rollback didn't even know the jeep was back there. I was hoping the jeep had brakes coming off the rollback but it wasn't rolling smooth enough to need much if any.

Those boosters have a control unit in them. If the voltage is under ''normal discharged'' levels, the wont boost. You have to enter force mode, which makes it send juice no matter what. You hold in one of the buttons.

NOCO GB jump packs will not turn on power to the clamps if it doesn't detect at least 2volts. ( if it's been sitting, you know that's not unusual) to bypass that feature, just press n hold the exclamation point button until you hear the relay inside click.. then it's a regular jump pack, hot clamps... it also bypasses the reverse polarity protection circuit. Contrary to what some say, the bypass button doesn't give extra power, it simply bypasses the safety features of reverse polarity & no sparks.. that's why it's an exclamation point & the red light comes on.

I did exactly that. Then the relay clicked back off and the fault light came on

@@CaseyLaDelle if your error light was steady, that's indicative of reverse polarity detected. If the error light blinks, that's showing your jump pack internal lithium battery it's either too hot or too cold. I've gotten the same error on occasion on extremely sulfated batteries & they don't wanna accept power.. Noco thinks it's shorted internally... if it's not below freezing temps recently risking a frozen battery... sometimes you can "trick" the circuitry by (make sure you've absolutely got correct terminals ID'd) but put pos. clamp on.. then power up & hit the bypass button till it flashes white ( means power, no safety features).. then apply your ground while powered up, that sends power before it detects a bad battery & you treat it the same as old fashioned cables that are just hot. Don't try on a possibly frozen. Very dead batteries are best fought with a non electronic jump pack like a JNC 660 etc..

Baby trucks are made like that? ;-P It's interesting to see that amount of roundabouts. They are the norm on this side of the big pond, but I kept finding four way stop signs all over the U.S., which really puzzled me. I think that it was mythbusters who tested the amount of traffic that a roundabout could handle vs a four way stop sign crossing. The difference was pretty substantial, IIRC.

At 7:04 mark on the video, the right front tire appears to have sidewall damage or an open splice at the 9:00 o'clock position. If this is damaged or defective it could result in a blowout.

Confused European: why are you making a big deal out of roundabouts? I drive through 5 or so on my way to work every day. Are they really uncommon over there or something?

They are very uncommon and until recent years, simply didn't exist on this side of the world. They are starting to become more common, but when you have cities like Bend that immediately try to convert every intersection to roundabouts as fast as possible it creates major traffic problems. Imagine the confusion and headache that would happen in your area if they all of a sudden pulled out all of the roundabouts that you know and are used to, and replaced them with 4 way stop signs

@@CaseyLaDelle 4 way stop signs are indeed unusual here. In fact I grew up in the only town around this part of Sweden that even has such an intersection and there are extra warning signs about that fact.
