I bought it yesterday. I didn't expected such a bike but it's a very competitive and efficient one. I think that i'll not regret m'y choice. Thanks for the review. Hi from France ! 👋😉👍

Hi Lance, thanks for the review. I just placed an order for the engine pro v2. Never had an e-bike, so I’m quite the newby. There are so many e-bike manufacturers out there, but I like the features this one has. Price seems reasonable as well. I live in a hilly area so maximum torque is on my mind.

Q: When unlocked, what is the top speed available using *throttle only* (i.e. no-pedal)? Some reviews say *20mph* others *28mph* ??
@theridewithlanceАй бұрын
Have not found a way to unlock the Engine Pro 2.0. So for me it is still 20 max on throttle only and 28 with pedal assist.

Question, does the torque sensor react to the speed of your pedaling or how much you push on the pedal? So if you are on a lower gear and pedal faster with less resistance, will you get more or less from the motor?
@theridewithlance6 ай бұрын
Its all about the amount of pressure you put on the pedals. If you are in a lower gear and pedaling faster, if the pressure is greater then it will give you about an equal amount of power. Say you are in a low gear, but in PAS 5. If you are trying to pedal hard enough and fast enough to get max power, you most likely will not be able to doing it without shifting to a higher gear. The torque sensor really gives you the ability to maintain any speed by the amount of human power you give. Unlike a cadence senor that only goes by the pedals being moved and then gives you max speed for the PAS level you are in.

How does the power/torque compare with other e-bikes on hills?
@theridewithlance6 ай бұрын
Out of all the bikes I have reviewed and owned, the Engwe is the strongest on the hills. My other bikes woukd stall out on that hill I went up in the video.

@@theridewithlancehonestly i like the 1 better cause of the cadence sensor i Think they should make a 2 version with cadence

Hi Lance, is there any difference in how hard it pedals in PAS 0 or the bike power button switched off ?
@theridewithlance6 ай бұрын
No difference. The only change is you have no visibility to the display.

Your channel is getting noticed. Better get you a shed!

Yes, I already scoped out some space for a shed in my backyard. Another bike is showing up today and the misses is getting concerned about space in the garage. LOL.
