Well done Adam on yet another great video. Didn't think I'd last the full 48 mins, but I did and made my breakfast all the more enjoyable. Track standing masterclass and I always enjoy the witty commentary. Keep them coming.

@@adamwatkins Learning by doing! Thoroughly enjoy your content and appreciate the effort to provide it. You have stoked long dormant rando/audax interests. The added bonus is that I will never take a random "pile o' dirt" for granted again. 😉🚴♂️🐮💩

Track stands well done. I was better back in the day with brakes. Once those cranks are at 12 and 6 you're almost helpless. Rutted potholes downslope is too hard. Riding same 48×18. Put front rack on bike today with quick release through hollow axle over axle nuts! Used a rear skewer. Too much weight from hydration pack on hands and saddle for long rides. Will do 100k to test tomorrow. Keep videos coming!
@adamwatkins3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a fixie friendly setup, can't beat a good front load, go well 👍
@davidburgess7413 жыл бұрын
@@adamwatkins Front load not my cup of tea! Changed my Aventon Cordoba from spirited steed to clumsy lorry. Got rubber bottle cage adapters zip tied to seat mast and under downtube near bottom bracket now. Still will use hydration pack but with less water. This should affect handling less and give my "contact points" some relief.

Enjoyed that one Adam. Took me back to my secondment driving the bus to cribbs, 75/76 bus. Fair shout to that guy, strong wheel to follow. Keep up the good work 👍

"Crackheads coming with 4 teeth between them" ..... Luckily I don't have that problem on the rural roads I tend to frequent, I did nearly get taken out by a large deer recently though, that sprang out of a hedge! "My roadie friend needs a basket" LOL Classic, :-)

6:47 There's a revision to the highway code currently in the works, whereby you're supposed to open a car door with the hand on the opposite side, to kind of force you to look over your shoulder. It's called a "Dutch reach," apparently.
@adamwatkins3 жыл бұрын
i've heard of that technique, sounds a very positive thing but doubt the genera public of morons will ever adapt to it sadly

Definitely not. They don't taste as wholesome as they used to, they seem more digestive now rather than outright oatmeal, like they've been tamed. I shan't be buying any more as they contain palm oil. Two packets in a week are enough.
