I’ve just watched the video, wearing headphones, and the sensation of the KTT moving across the screen really added to the experience. The difference between riding old and modern for me is that on a modern machine, you’re more of a passenger, with nothing much to do other than operate the throttle, gears and brakes. The bike starts with the press of a button. It has highly effective brakes and ample reserves of power and speed. The old machines demand much more rider involvement to operate them.

Hey thanks Neil. I just replied to von with the much the same sentiment but without having read your comment. I am glad you listened with headphones it makes a huge difference to the audio for the the ride by content where i used my 3dio binaural microphone. Ive listened to the video on laptop speakers and on headphones and its true for binaural mic recordings headphones are needed. People use these microphones to record 3d game video whatever i think. But thats exactly it. with a modern bike it can feel too much like you are a pillion. With an old bike i am constantly engaged with the motorcycle from sounds to feelings vibrations etc. It can be intense but can also be just right amount for enjoyment. I have ridden extremely fast sports bikes and its a different type of focus needed on those at high speeds, its not the same. Nothing is i guess other than another vintage classic motorcycle.

What microphone do you use when your riding the bike ? Impressed with the sound quality of the voice and still can hear the bike 👍

It’s some cheap mic I got off Amazon really cheap but you add a wind muffler thing. And iam happy with the result. I shall have to try find it but it’s designed for laptops when doing video calls

@@hilbilchillbil mind you i would say you can hear the bike when iam on the ktt as its a straight through pipe, but if you watch some of my mt-09 rides you will hear the bike is hardly audible and that has an akraprovic titanium exhaust but does have the remvable baffles fitted but its not a quiet original silencer
