It’s even better when Steve comes in on acoustic bass and Loz plays along. There’s a couple vids of that setup on KZbin with very decent audio that captures all the instruments well. I recommend man

Ride really is just such an underappreciated band. They are obvious masters of sonic texture (as evidenced by Nowhere), but something that always seems to get overlooked is their songwriting! Going Blank Again (as well as Nowhere) contain some great songs, which is demonstrated by the fact that they can be played here as unadorned acoustic duets.

Great acoustic set. It really displays how great the songs are at their core, unadorned by the band's usual layers of texture. And it further supports my feeling that Ride are the most underrated band of the last 30 years (especially here in the US. What is it with "American" ears, that fail to appreciate so many great English bands?)
