Boyz, I can tell you for me the 90's and discovering Ride was certainly the best years for music (and fashion and mindset and lifestyle) in my life and defines what music I listen to to this day. I caught you here in Sydney Oz in 1992 and it's a memory and feeling that will never leave me. You guys are the definition of what great Brit Indie guitar music of the early 90's is.
@verve927 жыл бұрын
I'm a Manchester cat living in Northern California and agree 1000%. I miss the 90's like an old friend who has died. Hearing this is joyous. Funny thing every Cali Hippie I play Ride and other similar bands who are unfamiliar embrace them as they did me. This sound is only possible in the UK, but understood by others here, now.

Was able to see these phenomenal humans just a few nights ago here in Phoenix, Arizona at the Van Buren. Like most of you RIDE fans this show was was a lifetime in the making for me, as I was a huge fan in my early college years in the early/ mid 90's. What a performance of a lifetime for me seeing them the other night - bringing back so many phenomenal memories, and feelings - and then creating new ones of course as well. I am hoping to catch them again next time around in the U.S., and hoping to take a few of my adult sons who also share a love for their music. Thanks guys!

I've seen tons of bands and their show at the Academy in New York supporting Going Blank Again is easily one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Good to see them back at it with an exceptional new record. Cali sounds like snippets from the first three records combined into one song. Outstanding.

Nice (surprising) find. Was at their first ever gig in Banbury, blimey, 27 years ago. Loz has aged well. I was travelling with tent back then. Andy, Mark and Loz visited said pitch. A few months later I'd got to Australia, and heard the first single on the radio. Coincidently I am for the first time since again travelling with tent, listening to this (with a good deal of welcome) in said pitch. Bloody decent band. Well done lads........................

@abysssss7 жыл бұрын
Dreams Burn Down gave me the guitar and drum work confirmation i was looking for re: Pumpkins. so everyone, this is the single most influential band of modern rock and roll, simply due to how influential the bands that were Ride proteges back in the day, were to so very many bands to follow. when listening closely you can even hear some Nirvana stylings which would've (likely) originated w/ Ride as well ...pretty awesome stuff
