Just got mine last week. put about 200 miles before taking it apart and mailing off the ecu. and now im going stir crazy waiting for my dang ecu to come back lol. Absolutely love the bike tho 0 complaints all perfect imo.

@@Kmoto530 vcyclenut. I ordered the tune for the exhaust I've ordered so I'm running airbox mod and sprint filter rn with stock exhaust. It still picked up some power but the real show will be when the exhaust comes in but honestly the stock one is growing on me. With the flash the bike seems faster than my old 636.

@@Kmoto530 I went with the full titanium spark exhaust. Your best bet is searching for mt09 exhaust they fit our bike. I think the yoshimura and two brothers are really good options and in stock rn. I also like the sc project s1 but same problem as the spark nothing in stock currently. But they say "soon" lol

I rode mine about 62 miles on highway from the dealer to the DC suburb. Traffic out in the country was nonexistent but here I barely ride it due to how heavy the traffic is around me.

Question: How low can you set the cruise control? Could you set cruise on like 30mph? I feel like that would be helpful for me in staying under the speed limit lol

Yeah pretty much bang on. About 30mph in at least 4th gear is the lowest it’ll go.

⁠@@motozest7856xsr900 is a good bike to start with. You can change the settings of the bike to fit your level. We all gotta learn sometime, let the man drive. He’ll get there on his own pace.

@@motozest7856And btw, the bike is just new. We are all always careful with new bikes in the beginning. And as you’re wanted to be careful sometimes you get sloppy. So its normal. He drives quite okay actually, more careful than others even. Thats only better.

Thanks, the MT09 SP is a sweet bike and I would have had a really hard choice if I had both of these to choose from. Yes, It’s on the firmer side but I haven’t had any long trips on it yet so it hasn’t bothered me.
