That wasn’t even 45 degrees, you have another 18 inches before you hit balance point. Learn to bring the bike down with the back brake, if you master that, you can bring it back down even if you break 12 o’clock

How do you "easily" slip that muffler off? Mine feels like it is stuck on. I want to separate the muffler from the collector to put the catalytic back in.

Sorry if you’ve covered this before, but were there any modifications needed for the exhaust? Since it’s basically an mt09 model, fitted to the xsr…just curious. I’m considering a 2nd gen model (xsr) to replace my first, but the exhaust options are not to my liking. With the exception of sc project. I’ve used various exhausts for my yamaha triples, even if they weren’t intended for that model, just an fyi. Cheers. Nice bike. 👍🤪🏳️‍🌈

Quick tip: don't ever remove the top cap unless you're putting oil in. Dust might fall in, a fly, a piece of rock. Whatever. Useless and stupid idea to remove it beforehand.

My bike used to do this until I adjusted the clutch lever to be a little bit further from the micro-switch sensor that tells the bike not to use the quick shifter. Otherwise the acceleration and the wind resistance with trigger the micro sensor.

what happens if you replace your ecu? so if you use an ecu from an other xsr? what happens to immobilizer?

I tightened mine just a little by adding a thin but large diameter washer that could fit against the rubber washer and around the small part of the metal ring thingy. It's still got some wiggle to it to not vibrate to pieces, but it's tightened enough to feel a little bit more nicely secured now.

I got this bike for the looks, the seat position on naked bikes and the tech cause it was my first bike and what learned on. Ride mode 4 was my home for 6 months and after i went up a mode, it felt like a whole new bike! Tip : PLEASE practice your slow speed turns, it made this bike perfect for a commute bike. I barely use my truck
