The world needs more trail guides like this! I was lucky enough to visit Raging River back in February 2021 and rode CCDH, PT, and a few others. I wasn’t able to get past the clearing on Raging Ridge but boy the other trails were exactly what I was looking for. Rooty, raw, loamy, everything that this NorCal boy could want

Have a fantastic ride! If you do the lollipop, it’s a longish ride so bring plenty of water. Have fun!

Nice video! About time someone else started making informative videos! I love your vocal delivery and expressiveness. You have a very approachable sound and you're easy to understand as well as pleasant to listen to. I like that you focus on the turn by turn and the basic framework of how to put the ride together rather than getting lost in the details. Very well organized and helpful. Attach your videos to trailforks; I usually pick up a few hundred views per trail that way. Get a Sure SM 58 or Audix OM2 (mircrophone) and a Behringer UMC 204 Audio interface and your voiceovers will sound fantastic! Plus, you can use the nicer mic for Zoom calls. Overall, I think you've got this nailed. Content is king, and this looks great. Can't wait to see more!

Thanks! Noted on the audio, definitely next on my list of upgrades. Do you have a preference for either one?
@VoiceOverTrailReviews4 жыл бұрын
@@ClaireJencks They're both really good mics. Personally, I use the Audix. FWIW, they're an Oregon company and they're built in the USA. Whatever you do, don't get snookered into buying a more expensive audio interface. Every pro studio has some Behringer equipment in it.

Great video, love the trail tour guide aspect and tips! Perfect timing on the weather & scenery for this too! But seems to be the spot for EVERYONE so have to choose an earlier or later time to do this.

Thanks! I’d agree that most Seattle area trails have seen a lot of love this year - Raging in particular because because you can really pick how far you want to go without getting caught too deep into the trail system. Come fall and on into winter it will definitely clear out a bit visitor wise.

New to riding been pretty comfortable on green and blues from swan creek and duthie. Would this be rough on an entry level hardtail such as a Trek Marlin 5?
@ClaireJencks3 жыл бұрын
Hey Steve! If you went up the ridge and returned via the ridge and rode poppin tops you’d should be good to go. It’s not going to be the most comfortable in places as the blues at raging are a step up from swan, but will be passable. Wouldn’t recommend the full lollipop on an entry level (doable for sure but not super comfortable/would be a bit epic). Hope you have fun whichever route you choose!

Still loving your videos, the "trail guide" format is so good. What's up with the 720p on this one though?
@ClaireJencks4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The 720p is a learning curve. I started shooting all 4k after this video, just working on upgrading storage, processing speed etc. Editing 4k is a lot for my current rig, but fear not, upcoming vids will be 4k :)
