These trails are so rad! This little trail system packs a MASSIVE punch. It's got something for everyone and is the best use of elevation ever. If you wanted to learn how to design a trail system then use Tennant as a benchmark.

Elk/Cougar/Bobcat were 100% volunteer designed and built (with great support from EMBA). The build was led by the Dirt Wizard Trail crew and we ran public workparties to accomplish it all with in the time scope. It took 4 months and 1500 hours to build it all, and over 100 different volunteers assisted in making it happen.

25 years ago I was taking time off from work just to help the old BBTC (pre Evergreen) maintain the original Tiger mountain trails with the legendary Art Tuftee. We had a heck of a time getting volunteers to come out and just keep what we had going. At 61 now, and plenty of crashes, I'm incredibly envious of the trails you all have to ride but I don't ride much anymore because I moved away from the area. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the original work at Tiger! Are there trails where you moved to? I’m down in Olympia but there’s so much accessible within 2 hours north and south. I feel super blessed to be able to choose from multiple world class trail systems

@@MTB_Corbin I'm now in the Sequim area. Mind you when I lived in Ravensdale I was 12 minutes from Tiger, and less than 5 from Sawyer Woods. Very convenient. Here the riding starts at 30 minutes away, and it's limited compared to what Tiger and Sawyer evolved into. It's incredibly cool what you all have.

Great video, efficient and clear like this place. Just swung by there and wow, they really make every yard count. Like, "Please design us a highly accessible balance bike to double black progression park. Yes, you have to do both manicured flow/jump lines and rooty, rocky stuff. Make sure it's fun and rewarding. Oh, and you have 32 acres." There is zero fat in this system -- every piece is there for a reason. What a lovely introduction to a sport some people are going to get.

Looks like a great use of space, glad they added so many tech features, usually these types of things are like 95% flow/jump. The only thing I don't like it is that it's yet another Evergreen trailsystem for the already-saturated I-90 zone, while we up here in Snohomish County continue to starve on our meager trail rations. :( I understand it has a lot to do with that area being really receptive to Evergreen's projects but man... hurts a little bit.
@MTB_Corbin
@MTB_Corbin Ай бұрын
Yeah the use of space is so nice here. I feel that with how many awesome riding spots there are on the I-90 corridor. I'm down in Olympia so it is a bit of a drive to get to Raging, 27, Tiger and now Tennant... Any trailbuilding community or non profit in your area that you could help with?
