One thing I don't get is why the back end is different from the city of Phoenixes nx60s

Because the destination sign not is the middle like Phx and same ac brand but different model I believe

@@kendallwalker72 those city of phoenix ones also have that fake grille design in the back while this one is all flat, and its not just these buses, its with the other xn models in the US, which makes me wonder why these 2 different designs

@@fargeeks Phoenix’s XN60’s have Allison transmission while the RPTA’s XN60’s have Voith transmission.

This articulated clown bus is like the “clown car of Neoplan Jumbocruisers” because it’s smaller than a Jumbocruiser it has high-back seats with headrests, it used to run express routes 531, 533, 535, 541, and 542, but it’s been clowning around too much on those routes that it was put on local service and they run routes 45, 61, and 112 (and occasionally routes 108 and 156). 🤡🤡🤡 Unlike the Jumbocruiser, it has only one deck, and as it decelerates, it makes a funny circus whistle/clown whistle type sound because of the Voith transmission. The transmissions on the RPTA’s XN60’s are WAY funnier and sillier than the ones on their XN40’s and XD40’s, in other words, the clown noises on Valley Metro’s articulated clown buses are funnier and sillier than the clown noises on their standard-length clown buses. 🤡🤡🤡 These articulated clown buses are always in silly mode whether their A/C is on or not!
