We were annoyed that we couldn't make the Infamously Calm ride so 'borrowed' a bit of the route around Mam Tor. So pleased we did... it was stunning.

Great roads - in my back garden. Go on a weekday morning for a lot less traffic - avoid on Sundays and bank holidays.
