Favorite song by Ride. Loz Colbert is amazing, one of the best drummers ever, period! Andy Bell, the guitarist and lead singer of this song, was the bassist for Oasis for 11 years after Ride broke up in 1997, before reuniting.

@peterjones6321 Man, I grew up listening to this song. I know it's in a radio station where there isn't much ambience, but you just gave me an idea! I'm going to take the audio, apply a simple amount of reverb to each instrument as I would mixing any other song for someone, but the SAME reverb they used on the original, and post it. You're right. This song, and RIDE, have shaped my musicianship in ways that most of the "session" musicians I've worked with simply do not understand. Can't wait to follow up on what you said.

HAHA that is an AWESOME way of putting it... as if he has 8 limbs. I get it. It's a PITY that the "Tarantula" album didn't portray that AT ALL... I have a very first pressing of the album as I was working at Warner Music at the time - you can hear the audio fading in and out (as in old, re-recorded 2 inch tape) on number of occasions.

They were so young when they encountered success with their music. And since they were tired of touring after releasing Going Blank Again, and the thing about Gardener and Bell being kinda like the leaders, that led to Carnival of Light and their later separation.
