Born and raised on Johnson. Great place to grow up (early 70’s). Watching the softball tournaments in the park. Football on Saturday against Eddystone boys. Wiffle ball, wall ball, kick ball on the corner of Johnson & Brown. Playing Tag throughout the neighborhood. Shooting BB guns by the creek. Fishing! Playing on the “Blue Route” before it was built. The stores on the AVE. And then......... they shut down the projects and handed out section 8 vouchers. For sale, For sale, For sale, For sale, For sale..... The End.

I grew up at 1126 Brown St. You turned off Morton Ave at what used to be Folks jewelry, and went by my childhood home!! at the corner on brown and Terrell (I think Terrell?) A lot of great friends and memories. Old neighborhood looks so different. They tore down all of Morton Ave, Holy sh!t.
