Much respect my friend, thank you for showing a side of city in transition from blighted to restoration. Your so right people are making videos where they only blight street after street. Leaving the impression of abandoned neighborhoods with residents who've abandoned hope having no solutions to course correct. Detroit as a whole is very much actively engaged in every community to mend the brokenness.

Detroit has things that the suburbs can never recreate like the old homes you see in this video you just cannot recreate the charm and craftsmanship of those homes. Even the smaller and more basic homes in Detroit have a lot of this unique craftsmanship in them. Most people think only downtown is getting attention but in the last 4-6 years I have been noticing a lot of renovations and new stuff coming to the neighborhoods outside of the greater downtown area. Now if only Highland Park could get it together there are a lot of old beautiful homes there that just need some TLC, I've seen some renovations in HP recently but not nearly at the pace of Detroit.

@@andrewmagee6556 You are so right now about Highland Park just from my thought from what I’m seeing. I think they are cutting off their resources to make people want to leave the area then they will start making more development in that area like replacing the basic things like street lights fixing the road it’s always a plan to be able to level the ground first to where they don’t have to buy anything from you. I could be wrong.

@@andrewmagee6556 As a Real Estate investor in Detroit, I must say be aware that Detroit has high Property Taxes, you must have Lead Inspections, DO NOT install your Hot Water Tank, Furnace, Central Air, unless you have someone you can trust who you are paying to stay in the Property until it’s completed. Also, your Property must be registered with Building & Safety $$$ if it’s a rental, you may inherit a past Water Bill, you must pull Permits $$$ and have a final inspection.

I agree. They want to Gentrify everywhere. Now is the time to buy. You make your money in Real Estate when you buy, not when you sell.
