It is nonsensical to say Hindus destroyed budhist temples. The Angkor Thom Temple was a Temple of Brahma which was vandalised by Buddhists. Angkor Vat was also a hindu temple. Budha is not an avatar of Vishnu. In Bodh Gaya , Vishnu sits on Gayasura. Budhism is only hardly 2500 years old. SANATHAN dharma is thousands of years older than budhism.

Raja Ram Mohan Roy was a converted Christian and he is the person who replaced Sanskrit with English in schools. He is buried in UK in Christian style. So don't take his name again without knowing history

Is that how it is ? A stupa is built to cover a temple is it? The historian in me thought that a stupa was built to preserve relics of the Sakya Muni - Buddha, and that's why they build it so that you can't enter in there. If I apply Jaggi's logic then all the Christian and Muslim coffins also have a Hindu temple inside it then.

No buddhist stupas were destroyed by Hindus and vice versa. This is a ridiculous question to ask. The answer that stupas were originally temples above with stupa was built is equally ridiculous. Where are they getting all these stupid ideas? Both are part of the same tree. Go to old temples you will see shiva, vishnu, buddha, tirthankaras all together. Please visit ancient temples first.
