Warro, thanks for responding to my questions! I really appreciate it. A few follow up thoughts. 1. The Honda web site was showing their accessories briefly this week, but it’s been taken down again. I’ll have to order from somewhere else I think. 2. Yep. Backing off the throttle on a cold engine is exactly what I’m seeing. It still wants to go. All good, I just wanted to see if you had the same experience as me. 3. Thanks for clarification re: stalling/lugging at low speeds. 4. Valves. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere near them until my warranty period is up. Hopefully a bit more info on how to DIY service these things then. 5. Thanks for your thoughts re: Dunlop tyres. 6. Fuel display. The mode which shows “- - -“ is actually a real time fuel usage display. It seems to update every second or so. Thanks again, Warro. Really appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions.

my klm to fuel gauge -------- has never shown any data at all. not so far. just checked again still ---- overall though out of your questions i'd totally avoid running it slow in higher gears as its just not meant to do that. much better to run it at 20 kph in first i think. touchy on the clutch too. i think ive stalled it twice...lol apart from that all good and still petrol in my tank from first fillup all the best!
@geekylucas11 ай бұрын

Bought my GB350 in early December. Liked the minimalist classic looks, and figure that it will be bullet proof being a Honda. Done 2000kms and very happy with it. Done a couple of rides through the hills in South Gippsland and it handled it nicely. The drive train and brakes have settled in nicely. I don’t have the rattling seat issue.
@ridewithwarro11 ай бұрын
great to hear. i plan to give this one a few good runs in all areas in a few upcoming clips. my fuel economy to date is 43.7 -hows yours holding up. when did go in for the first service. just curious do they have readily available oil filters for them in stock
@desmcd151511 ай бұрын
It’s showing 42.6, but I reckon actual is probably closer to 40. First service done at 1020kms and no issues with parts. Though I booked in early and gave the dealer 4 weeks notice. The only annoying thing I’ve found about this bike is that every where I stop folks want to stop me and chat about it (actually I don’t mind).

Hi mate, thanks for uploading this. I’m looking to buy either of these 2 but according to RE’s website the bike you have there is $8790 and the Honda according to Honda Aus. is $7801 for S. Aus. So for me it’s almost $1000 difference in the ride away prices. I rode the Honda and liked it, I’m looking forward to getting time to riding the RE 👍🏼
@ridewithwarro11 ай бұрын
yeah i am county so freight is added to the price. now the classic start at $8000. if you look in my history youll see the halcyon grey i had. there is no difference between any of the models power wise in the classic 350's i also had the signals too. about $300 extra for that one but saying that base colours are fine and look good in green/halcyon grey or black. so it will depend upon what you really want ride experience wise as its expensive to buy and try again the classic is just a feel good bike to ride in all areas. the honda may be the more reliable ride and better on petrol. ive now done 210 klm and its showing 43.7 kpl personally i couldnt care about the petrol side but lots do

The honda GB350 is closer to the royal enfield hunter 350 than the classic 350 to be fair, and the Hunter 350 is I think about $500 cheaper than the classic around aus, so maybe have a look at the hunter price rather than the classic. I got my hunter for $7490 in WA.

I have a 2019 Grom that I'm soon to sell due to loving my Classic 350 reborn. It also has a sports exhaust & sounds great, especially at idle, but moving under load, my RE with a sports exhaust kills it. I was surprised by your love of the Vespa as that's another bike I may own one day. As for the RE vs. Honda, the RE kills it. I looked at a Honda CB300 before getting the RE & it was like 30hp & 148kg. But this Honda still needs a rev & is way heavier & less powerful. The RE is the real deal & it's great Honda are having a go & attracting people that wouldn't trust an RE, but for me I'll stick to my RE which has an led headlight, indicators & aftermarket exhaust. In a few more years, I may try the Vespa!

Thanks once again for a good video and discourse on the various attributes of both models. Not long ago I went into a local motorcycle dealer and asked the spare parts/accessories department about a heal- toe shifter for the 350 Enfield and they just looked at me as if I had two heads and then carried on to serve somebody else. Yes I walked out vowing never to set foot in the establishment again.

its far easier to get it right from india via ebay and probably cheaper too. just make sure its for classic 350 reborn not classic 350 as they are different shifters

Even with a good bore stroke relationship Honda just never has proper low end torque.

yeah theres an issue there for sure. it does get up and go in the first 3 gears

I have Hness in India. Honda is easier to ride in traffic due to slipper clutch & offers better refinement at higher speeds. 2024 version Indian Hness now comes with dual seat as standard.

interesting on the duel seat. even closer now to the classic 350 reborn

That honda is making me nervous, Warrior. That petrol breakdown is 101 MPG. That is the mileage of a moped. I cannot even imagine that number when the Himalayan is at 68 MPG all day long. That is roughly 33% more efficient. How do they do that.😂 I realize MPL or MPG is based on many factors. I need to see one in person. To sit on it and try to experience the feel. The Gentleman " on two feet" from Arizona did the 1000 mile iron butt on a Himalayan. He sold it and purchased the CRF 300St or sx...the trail model. Apparently easier to ride and throw around. I love Enfield but the other guy is slipping threw the back door.

yeah i dont know how accurate that gauge reads and i think its saying i still have either 300 or 400 more klm in the tank. if i could score 500 klm to a tank that would get me to places and back with no fill ups. feels a bit more compact and lighter than the classic 350 is it a better bike....hard call there but i will have a much better idea when i do longer runs and dirt roading...lol

yeah they sort of rip us off here...lol i recall when i had the honda ct125 trails. they were $7800 here and heavily overpriced for 125cc and i think your way about usd$3000 but i think they thought if classic 350 brings aud$8k then we can get that for the honda too...lol

G'Day Warro, If you don't mind me saying so, I reckon most of your regular followers will expect you to heavily favor the Enfield. Let's face it there's probably no-body on the Planet who has had MORE Royal Enfield bikes that you and it seems fortuitous at the same time R/E has emerged as a well regarded business making a quality product. So here we are, you are now tasking yourself with a difficult comparison in which it is essential you be FAIR. I have a C5 fitted with an Indian made KOZI Sidecar, a 150 Sym Scooter and a CB 125E which I bought after seeing you on your daughters bike a year ago. I was the importer of the sidecars and between 2012 and 2017 I was importing them by the container until a boating accident stopped me. My view of the two bikes you are comparing is both have barely 20 HP, a bit skinny, my Honda has 10.7 HP and less weight. 350's made in the 1970's had 30 to 40 Hp, more like it, I reckon.
@ridewithwarro11 ай бұрын
todays 350's are indeed short on power output to say the least...lol all good on the review side and as the clips go by i will give both of them a fair chance...lol never ridden a bike with sidecar but i'd say its an experience. all the best
