The Rigid pressure are great I cannot complain. Dude Sabaru is like the beast for motors they are so reliable! Also the wand is nice, I don't know about you but I prefer a handle for every tool. Dan if you want to get your car washed the easy way you should go to a detailer. Dude I love this pressure washer definitely the best pressure ever. Dude the more psi they add the more likely you are going to scratch your truck.

That looks like a great pressure washer. I am with Eric on the wand mount, I hate moving mine around and the wand wanting to fall off.

Rigid has really started to step their stuff up, not that they weren't great before but they used to be more for homeowners than professionals. Now they are getting to where pros are willing to trust their products, this pressure washer being no exception to that rule because it seems built like a tank! I will stick to my Milwaukee/Dewalt power tools but stuff like this is really edging me to look at rigid much more seriously.

Price is a bit expensive. It does have that kitty cat pump though. We have a similar one but its from harbor freight. It does great. Can the oil in the pump be changed?

I've said it before but Subaru are the best mini engines. We used their trash pumps at sea as emergency salvage pumps, both petrol( Gasoline) and diesel.

I don't have a Ridgid pressure washer but I do have a Husky generator. I got it in 2006 during the Mothers Day flood here in NH. I mention this as it has a Subaru motor and the thing is an awesome generator and I dropped $400 for the 6250/5000 Watt beast. The thing is awesome so I too am a big Subaru fan.

i have the ridgid 3300 psi 2.8 gpm subaru 7.0 bought used 3 years ago i think its about 6-8 years old. with a cat pump. imo it is a really good cut off pressure washer. by that i mean just enough power for residential mild comercial ie contractor that uses say 5-10 hours a week. below this slow and low power above this great but takes a huge price jump. i dont think this exact model, size and power was avail. for long but if you are a dyi that likes decent power and performance see if you can get one used for around 200-300. this one has been used about 10 hours once a month for 8 years so about 1000 hours. still runs like new. it does the entire house, drive way, side walk and back lanai in about 8 hours for reference. a regular 2.5gpm 2500 will take about 20 hours b/c i used to have one years back so power makes a big difference. anyone using cheap basic 2.5 2500 you are wasting alot of time. extra money will save you 100 hours a year doing basic cleanup.

I've been using my Simpson ALH4033 for about 2 years now, and my only complaint is the amount of force it take to squeeze the trigger on the wand. I have strong hands, but I have to admit that after ~ 20 minutes of constant use, my trigger hand starts to get fatigued. I'm wondering if the Ridgid wand is more comfortable to use? One of the Simpson's better features in my book is the large gas tank. My previous power washer's gas tank was so small that it needed to be filled multiple times in order to get a 45 minute job completed.

top of the line pump and a Subaru engine, whats not to like? the price tag is high but look at what you get for the money! Definitely the nicest pressure washer I think you guys have shown, I bought a Powerplay Hotrod gas pressure washer after seeing you review it all that time ago and it's been a great buy, now I'm thinking it might be time for an upgrade....if it's available in Canada HD of course which it probably won't be cause the US gets all the best stuff...lol Great video as always guys!

I don't like Subaru engines at all. I'm a small engine mechanic for a rental company and the Subaru engines in our equiptment give us nothing but problems, new they run great, but after the first oil change its all down hill from there, they just don't have the longevity of the Honda engines. and ordering a complete engine unit is more than a small pain to just get the right one. ridgid tools on the other hand, there plumbing products are great, but there drills are bottom rung ( we rent Bosch and Makita. and I only buy Bosch for my personal cordless.) We tried the ridgids to save money, but contractors are really really hard on rental tools, and at the price point of the ridgids they are not worth repairing( neither are the Bosch lithium drills, but they are inexpensive enough to be tossers when they eventually die). the ridgids were going out for maybe 3 rentals, and they would have stripped clutches, burned out motors or cracked plastics. where the bosches and makitas were bought years ago, and go out maybe once a month ( full disclosure here, I bought all of the rental Bosch tools after 20 easy rentals so they don't leave my tool box now unless I'm using them) and they just go and go, when they break parts are available but for the most part lithium ion tools are not worth repairing. the corded tools, even though they are cheaper then the lithiums are incidentally worth the repair labor and parts because the parts are cheap as dirt. on the plumbing and pipe threading side on the other hand, ridgid can't be beat. We dropped a ridgid 300 off of a forklift a good four feet to the concrete floor, and the rear pipe chuck broke, repair was inexpensive and easy, I was able to do it in a half hour and get the thing back out on rental and making money.the high speed steel they use for the dies is really high quality stuff and lasts a long long time even when used without oil ( don't do that. screws up your threads) all around the threaders are top quality heavy duty stuff. but pressure washers, I'd go with a karcher or a mitm and schedualed maintinance over the course of ten years of hard hard rentals than any other name brand or off brand.

Nathan Hansen so...... if I don't change the oil it will be awesome forever? Lol. I have the 3300psi unit and I love it. Had it now for over 5 years.
@nathanhansen8462
@nathanhansen8462 7 жыл бұрын
beri232 yup, that's about how that works out. lol. we have one mitm pressure washer made in 2005 and I'm the only one with a work order in our system for ever doing an oil change on it. it's all about usage and taking care of it. say you use your pressure washer maybe 10 hours a month, you can go a long long time without doing an oil change. but if your running it 55 hours a week? it's going to need the oil changed immediately. often times in the rental industry we don't get the equiptment back to the yard untill it is far past where the oil needs to be changed out or filters need to be serviced. the reason I like the Honda's for rental incidentally is the same reason that they are a pain in the ass to own, the oil shutoff sensors are sensetive, they will kill an engine for low oil, dirty oil, thin oil, too much oil. so when they reach the point of no return, often times the Subarus keep running till they really die, where the Honda's will shut themselves off. as an equiptment owner, I can see that being disadvantageous, especially for company owned equiptment where the laborer doesn't know a spark plug from a pull rope and asking to have the oil changed is like asking him to develop a space suit. one of the reasons I have alot of respect for the mechanics that work for construction and demolition companies, everything is broken and it's never good news when they get a call.
