FYI, I'm getting about 30 minutes of runtime out of a 9 amp hr battery, which for me is a DeWalt Flexvolt ran through a battery adapter. See ya! 👊

This is a great, very helpful vid! I actually have really wanted to purchase this vac for a while because of its strong performance for a cordless vac but haven't because I am not in the Ridgid battery platform anymore. I even looked into a battery adapter for my DeWalt batteries but couldn't find any except unreviewed on Ebay which I was hesitant to trust. So I was wondering what battery adapter you used? And have you had to take any precautions to prevent overdrawing power from your DeWalt batteries and thereby damaging your batteries? Thank you!

I left a couple of links in the description to the adapter I used and to my article on battery adapters of you want to check it out. No I don't do anything special when using adapters. I used to worry about over-discharging the battery but I got over it. :)

Got 3 before there discontinued one for work one got home and cars and a backup glad mine are going strong

I don't think it's officially discontinued but it's hard to find one in stock anywhere. Maybe it didn't catch on and retailers stopped ordering it.

Home Depot, but they're "not available right now." Not sure if that means they're discontinued. Ridgid still has it listed on their site - www.ridgid.com/us/en/9-gallon-nxt-cordless-vac
