Jim Fellows, is the head of a government experiment in wild horse reclamation for purposes other than war, and his efforts are hampered by Gus Jordan, manager of the swanky Lariat Lodge dude ranch, but actually the leader of a gang of rustlers who steal the horses as fast as the ranchers can round them up for the project.

Saw the Sons of the Pioneers last Night & They Sang Mr. Smiley Burnett's Beautiful "Riding Down The Canyon" To Me This Is The Most Beautiful Western Ever Penned. And No One Beats The Pioneers Singing It. JMHO

Love Roy and the pioneers. Saw the sons of the pioneers in Branson Missouri a few years ago. They were great as their dads. Thank you. God bless.

Recognize the jail cell toward the end of the movie? Same one they used in 'Red River Valley'. *That's part of the fun in these old RR movies.

@@bluenetmarketing but not only could the Sons of the Pioneers sing, that old "cowboy music" was better than the stuff they call country music today.

you must be kidding .. "too much singing" ...??? it makes the movie and is CHARMING ..the world would be a better place today with more movies like this
