murph big difference in low end torque for sure. You don’t lose too much top end, but you do lose some but I’m never cruising around at 60+ mph so it mattered very little to me. Next up is getting my primary clutch sheave machined...it’s like a gear reduction for belt driven quads but without losing ANY top end. There are 2 guys that do it, one in Utah and the other in Canada. It’s about $200 to get it done.
@murph25214 жыл бұрын
@@RidinDirtyOutdoors dang yea well I ride around here we ride the tracks alot and the road a bit as well so I'd hate to lose too much speed however the extra oomph at low end sounds nice lol I'm contemplating the evolution and tuner these days

murph it’s not a crazy amount lost. You can still hit the track and ride the roadway. Hardly noticeable in high gear. If you skip the shim and do the machined primary then you’ll get more low end and no loss of top end. I just plan to do both for added grunt in any mud and when I get bigger tires
