I really loved my experience last month, from Bandung to Gambir! I deliberately chose a departure time of 6 am so I could enjoy the sunrise over the mountains and it was a little foggy. Amazing journey!

I wanted to go for the early one as well, but it was fully booked I think. I think from Bandung it is really nice since the best views are close to Bandung.

@@olestories You're right! Morning departures from Bandung at sunrise can be busier and the best views are between Bandung and Purwakarta with mountains, high bridges and tunnels. If you're lucky, the fog will make the atmosphere even more dramatic You should try it when you have the chance to visit Indonesia again 🙂

Tahun 80an sepertinya sama kek tahun 90an.. JD inget dulu pertama naik kereta dari Jabar ke Jatim, berangkat dari rumah rapih dan wangi, sampai kereta penuh sekali sampe duduk di sambungan gerbong, banyak yg jualan, turun dari kereta bau parfum berubah JD bau asap rokok dan bau besi karat.. sungguh luarbiasa kala itu 😂😂😂😂😂

Probowangi train Surabaya - Banyuwangi imo is the best scenic ride in Java. It departs in the morning, travelling between mount ijen and and mount argopuro, going through idlyc countryside, rice terraces, plantations, with the majestic mount ijen in the background. Such a therapeutic ride. Downside is it's all economy seat.

What you must visit if you are in Indonesia is the city of Cirebon, especially East Cirebon. You can visit Alun Alun Ciledug which has lots of games and food. Swipe you can visit AJIMUT Hill in Waled Bukit District which is very beautiful. Swipe again and you can go to Baro Beach, Gebang District. There is a very beautiful beach, East Cirebon 250 KM from Jakarta. You can take the train from Senen Station and immediately get off at Ciledug Cirebon Station. Train to Jogyakarta...! In Ciledug Cirebon there are many hotels and accommodation

No way! I befriended the person behind me, would have been so much easier to talk that way 😅

@@olestories yes way, all executive class seats swivels 180 so it's always facing front. But panoramic is unique coz it swivels 90 too that way you can fully look out at the window. The downside is, you can't turn around by yourself, the person next to you also swivels Oh, the newest class in Indonesia is compartment suite, feels like hotel, meals included, complete privacy, and the seat also does massage. It's expensive tho.
