We’re not deleting comments and we’re not hiding anything in our replies. We have worked directly with ASI to tune and refine our drive system to perform to our standards. Our bike does not slow down on hills, maintains 37mph, and this has been confirmed by reviewers. We’ve been honest and open in our replies and we appreciate your concerns, but without looking at our actual performance output graphs and without riding the bike you’re generalizing and it’s misleading. We’d be happy to discuss this further with you so that you have the true information that would help you to understand how our bike performs.

Do you know by chance the specs like the torque specs of the motor your using, or model of motor you guys are using as only part of that bike I am unsure about? It did struggle on steep hill in the “juiced joyrides” review video and one other video when he did a hill climb test at 19% incline and could not get it up without peddling? Now on a more gradual incline it did ok but lost about 7mph going up on less of a more gradual incline. Yes you correct direct drives typically have less low end torque, I use to qs205 direct drive motors and etc that have 195Nm torque. Did look and see a few 3k direct drives hub motors that are only 95Nm torque?

Is the stealth bomber water proofed hub motor ? Im planning to order one and commute to work in all type of weathers year round.

Very surprised given the conditions you weren't sliding more. What was the PSI you deflated to? Do you remember? Also, for gear, any good recommendations on gloves? I feel that'd be the first place for feeling like you're freezing.

Oh and another question, what tire width are you riding on? You mention not using 2.5". Any thoughts on a good size for conditions you have where it's semi plowed areas and not full on snow coverage?

@@fpul in semi plowed conditions you can ride 2.5” just doesn’t do well on especially packed snow and for that at least 3” studded bike tires, 4” inches work the best for snow and ice. Some people put zip ties around tires for extra traction.

It was around 20 instead of 25psi you can go down to 15 but I ride the roads as well. Pretty much motorcycle gloves that are advertised as wind proof. Yes your hands will get numb as wind drops temperature. They also have bar mitts which go on handlebars and blocks the wind.

@@thetechgenie7374 awesome! Thanks for the followup! I have a bike now that I ride but it's very very basic. This looks like a nice upgrade once I get my funds together.

What about the batteries you cover it or motor
@thetechgenie7374 Жыл бұрын
Yes going to start covering batteries very soon in a couple of days. Going to go over tools and etc as well on what needed to build a battery pack.
