It was encouraging to see that you had (seemingly) minimal pipe scraping riding on those uneven roads. That gives me hope with my 39" fishtails. I have been a bit afraid to lower my bike too much because it is handling so well (so far). I like to ride hard through the canyons and appreciate a decent lean angle :)

Glad you mentioned that, because I spend quite a bit of time and effort on sound. The microphone was actually in my backpack wrapped in studio foam. It eliminates just about 100% of the wind, but keeps the sound of the bike. It was slightly muffled for my taste, so I ran the sound through a couple different processesors to bring out the true sound but still a little muffled. Nonetheless, it's better than relying on camera mics.

Brother, animal your channel on your deluxe! I have one, greetings from the south of Brazil! One question, I'm having difficulty maintaining the quality of videos exported from Gopro to youtube. What settings do you use to finalize material before uploading? Thanks!
@JETFILMCHANNEL3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Here's a couple tips - when you're creating a video in the editing software, set your resolution for 4k, which is 3840 x 2160. When you save your final video, make sure to save at a high bit rate, such as 100Mbps and ensure that your are saving at 4k resolution. When you upload to KZbin, their system will recognize that you are uploading a 4k video as opposed to 1080, and they'll give you the better video codec to ensure high quality playback. Just be aware that even with the better codec, it'll never be as good as the original version. Their codec's are highly compressed formats which can make beautiful footage look "good" at best.

Saw your last video about the air ride, how is it holding up? How does it compare to the progressive 422 shocks? Is it bouncy? Looking at buying them myself
@JETFILMCHANNEL3 жыл бұрын
The air ride is holding up perfectly, and I've definitely put some miles on it through most conditions. So like i said in that film, the 422's were brutal at the full 2" drop, the shotguns can go 3". So if you ride at a 2" drop with the shotguns it's pretty tolerable while maintaining a low stance. If you want max comfort then you can raise up the air suspension to stock height and it's very comfortable. The 422's at stock height were pretty comfortable too, but air is more comfortable at stock height. Lowered, the shotguns can be bouncy at times depending on how you have it dialed in, but then again anything will be bouncy when you're at the final reaches of suspension travel. My advice - if you're looking for a true Cholo look and you have the money, go with the shotguns and never look back.

While fueling up, and talking to locals, they were asked if they went to see the light house near by. When they got there they learned it is the biggest lighthouse in the West coast and the most western point of the United States. I would like for you to take us on a ride to a destination unique to the east coast. I think a lot of bikers look for destinations like that for an excuse to ride.
