Your shifting technique needs a lot to be desired...need to be a lot smoother instead of that snatchy action you have...and you'll find the bike is a lot smoother.

The Triumph Bobber is a very beautiful motorcycle with excellent style, but its main issue lies in the suspension, especially the rear one. It definitely needs to be replaced. I would recommend a Nitron suspension, which allows you to adjust preload, compression, and rebound. I have this motorcycle, and these shocks have worked very well for me. Now I can truly enjoy it!

When I first rode my 2022 bobber I was horrified at the lack of brakes. But I quickly realised that was due to the dealership valet, spraying the bike with Mr Sheen, including the discs!! By the time I got home the brakes were equally as good as my Kawasaki Z900RS.

@@rubo1964the Z900RS is a great bike that can be ridden fast. The bobber more relaxed and happier at legal speeds but can still open up if want. The bobber did need a springer seat to make it comfortable on longer rides.

I’m only guessing but the jolting could be the clutch work, not releasing the clutch so quick I wonder would help
@dalechamberlain7767 Жыл бұрын
I would suggest you have never ridden a brand new bike before. It has the best brakes in the world but need 50 miles to bed in and come up to speed. If you changed gear with your technique you would damage it before properly run in. The bike is not supposed to go over 4000 revs for at least 600 miles. You would now be an ex friend of mine if you showed me a video of you riding my new bike like that.

The shifting and brakes are like that on all triumph bikes (modern classics, not the ss bikes), i have a 13 scrambler and the gearbox is nice but not nearly as "kathunk" as my old sportster, and the brakes are butter soft which ehh not enough to keep me away from buying another triumph. I will say ive fallen hard for the bobber and plan on adding one to the fleet. Good review!

Iv never seen anyone snatch so hard on the clutch and accelerator. Those breaks are ABS if you cant work with them theres something wrong with your riding. And on a brand new bike! John must want his head examining letting you loose on his new bike. The iron 883 is a tank. Even Harley dealers who care about there customers won't stear you towards one. No-one rides a brand new bike like that it takes 600 miles to break it all in. Seriously I think you need to try something else in life.
@kevlarxkoffee2 жыл бұрын
Everyone clutches different. I'm just more agressive at riding. John actually thanked me for looking over his bike for issues, riding it back, and breaking in his sissy bike 😅 🤣 JK! Kinda seemed like you were searching for things to complain about. You have to rev these motors out 😭 you're lugging it around and shifting too low!! Not to mention, i can see you're letting the clutch out too fast and thats why its jolting. Not sure what happened with the brakes, but the dual brembos are vastly superior to the sportsters single disk. This bike goes and stops twice as fast as the 83, no debate. The Bobber will buck you off the front with too much lever grab, and would probably do a stoppy
