Would you want an electric bike to look like a normal bike, or should it look "different"?

@@MOTOKANDI I don’t mind different but the faired but just looks wrong, saw one in the flesh and my thought it looks wrong, it’s the lights and the fairing don’t think it blends well if you know what I mean.

Good on you for trying one Kar 👍 I've had a go on a Zero SRS. A rather different experience to a petrol bike. I enjoyed it though!

It's got two wheels, does 100mph and sounds like something from Bladerunner... it's not perfect but there's lots to like!

Thanks for posting that Kar..there is hope for future riding. Some of my riding is for the pleasure of riding my bike whilst absorbing the surroundings, an electric bike would be great for that.....and launching from low speeds !

Being an auto it makes less demands of you to ride so means you can focus on other things, but not being able to manually change gears can also be a less engaging experience so all depends on your point of view!

I have an electric car,the worst thing about it is the charging, I've never charged it anywhere apart from home because charging is so slow. What they should do is make a universal battery or batteries that you can go and swap at a petrol station for one that is already charged, you pull your low battery out, put it in the machine which deducts money from the new battery price for the amount of charge left on it,slide the new battery in and away you go even faster than filling up with a tank of fuel. This would eliminate the need for having charging stations everywhere because you just go to a petrol/battery station. remember where you heard it first ;)

My next car will almost certainly be electric (plug in hybrid at the minimum) so I'm more than happy to embrace an electric motorcycle.
