Nice video, a bit long though. Reminded me of my train trip in Malaysia! In your video, I enjoyed watching the signal turn red as the train past it as well as the train mural at the end. I remember the coaches were sooo cold, I was shivering. I went to the cafe car every so often to warm up (that car was not air conditioned).

I really miss the old train...quite slow ..with night coach and lower and upper bunks..with buffet car on day train... now all gone... all seated coach with fast journey...

Great train journey! At eh begining, was it taken from a hotel pool? I was on the ETS Gold to Ipoh fe mths ago! Amazing train,very clean, no gradditi/damage, no smoking, and high tech toilets. A cleaner on board to clean the toilets regularly! Sydney Trains can't beat that! How did you put ypur cam out of the train? Check out my trip to Ipoh also.

saya dengar landasan untuk ETS Gold ini sudah hamper siap sampai ke Sempadan Thailand ,,Siap sepenuhnya Tahun Depan 2015,,nak jugak naik ETS Gold ni pergi jalan-jalan sampai ke bukit Kayu Hitam Sempadan Thailand Ada Duty Free shop ,,Jalan-jalan,,tahun depan bcos guna Ets Train ini Lebih Jimat Waktu,,Dari KTM ,,,

Ya bimba-Iola, sekarang landasannya sudah siap sepenuhnya iaitu dari Ipoh ke Padang Besar..Tren ETS sendiri sedang dan akan menjalani ujian perjalanan berkali-kali sebelum memulakan perkhidmatan sebenar pada Julai 2015 ini..Hasil ujian pertama Mac lalu tempoh perjalanan dari KL Sentral - Padang Besar mengambil masa selama 4 jam 15 min pada kelajuan 140 km/j..

sempitnya seat train KTM..failed specs. Kalau duduk sblh org besar/gemuk lg problem. ini standard guage 1meter punya pasal ke? hihi. harap2 ECRL ke pantai timur & KL-SG bukan 1meter gauge.

HSR mestilah standard gauge. Kalau tak, macam mana nak laju? But one more thing, ECRL mungkin 1 meter gauge sebab dia akan bertemu dgn track Gemas-Tumpat yang juga 1 meter gauge, lainlah kalau KTM upgrade track dari Gemas.
