Road there several years ago. It is amazing to watch the red rocks and dirt, turn to green and see the trees along the road headed to the Grand Canyon Lodge.

It's 200 miles on a boat/raft. You do it in sections for 8 day stretches like down to Phantom Ranch which you've got to hike your gear down to meet the boats (drag, and you miss the beginning part of the inner forge which is incredible !) It's a trip of a lifetime time, we did it it in 20 days, a true expedition that takes lots of planning of meals etc

Wow, that sounds absolutely incredible. 20 days!?!?

Yes, absolutely amazing. A real expedition, 200 miles of wilderness , on your own skill and dependence. Oops Inner Gorge ^* The layers of the rocks at the river level is amazing !!

Why 2 GPS’s ? Does the Harley one suck? Or is it in case you loose service on your phone in the desert? Would you ever consider a third GPS?
@FullTankAdventures2 жыл бұрын
The H-D GPS works great, but like any GPS its not as flexible as Google Maps so I typically plan the whole route in the H-D GPS and upload it to the bike, then use Google Maps as we're going. I like bouncing back and fourth between the two.

Why do you employ the use of gos navigation on the infotainment system and your phone simultaneously?
@FullTankAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Because right now I have the microphone turned off on my infotainment setting, and I recently installed a headset, I didn't have a chance to have the dealership to the microphone setting back on on the infotainment.

@@FullTankAdventures interesting. what hearing does the mic setting on the infotainment system have on the navigation?
@FullTankAdventures2 жыл бұрын
@@road_king_dude So they want you to be able to operate the infotainment hands free by using the microphone. You can turn it off, but then if you get a headset you need to turn it back on. I just need to do that. Though sometimes I do like to import a route on the GPS on the infotainment system, and then also use Waze as a backup as they show different things sometimes. I bounce back and forth.
