Georgia played poorly all year. Their were several games like this that they were able to overcome. This Georgia team this year was hard to watch. They gave me ulcers. They were not a national championship team. They overcame a lot this year, but it was bound to catch up with thim. The loss was like finally being "put out to pasture" every offensive position group was average at best this season. Offense scored 7pts or less in 8 out of 14 games in the 1st Half --2 of remaining 6 games scoring over 7pts were UMass and Tenn Tech. We have to pick a struggle -- Get in the game to compete with the $20Mil roster or evovle offensively to attract elite skills. Hopefully changes will be made.

OL was trash tonight. Gunner played well given the circumstances. We need to get rid of Glenn Schumann. People always want to say get rid of Bobo. I want Schumann gone! This defense cannot tackle for whatever reason. I disagree you cannot blame the defense in some way. Down the stretch we are still letting guys get so many yards after contact. I don’t put anything on Kirby in this game. Turnovers, missed blocks, special teams TD, bad tackling, etc. If the players executed there is no doubt that UGA would have won the game. Etienne’s turnover was huge..points off the scoreboard. Freeling’s missed blocks that led to turnovers were crucial…probably the most important thing in the game, imo.

The running backs averaged 5 yards per carry. We could run. We just did not run enough. Monken was a master of down and distance. We were behind our skis all year long.

We play basically the same schedule next season with games at home vs away. Do we think the roster, given that we will lose 10-25 to the portal, can compete vs the schedule? If so, which positions are we weakesst st? Will we have depth if injuries occur? How many starters return? 8-5 next season. And IMO, it will have zero to do with coaching. We haven't adjusted well to the current NIL and portal rules. We can't keep losing depth when it is virtually impossible to replace it.

We will go 10-2 again in the regular season next year. Maybe we make the SEC Championship game. Maybe we even win it. Either way, we'll make the playoffs. And lose in the first (maybe second) playoff game. Georgia might win one or two more National Championships in the next 20 years. Same with every other "great program". It will be hard to win 3 or 4 games in a row with these 12 team playoffs. It is what it is. Our offensive line, pass protection, and running game have been pathetic. Our receivers can't recieve. And our defense has taken a step back from the last 7 years (sans 2019/2020). Lots of missed tackles tonight. It all adds up, folks. Too many close calls. Too many games with slow starts and having to dig ourselves out of a hole. Let's not become Clemson 2.0. Please....

Bobo did NOT do a good job play calling today. He abandoned the run at the wrong time. The drops have been an issue all YEAR. We stopped running in the second quarter when it was effective. ND was NOT a better team than Georgia. Not even CLOSE. 2 turnovers and a kickoff return for a touchdown.

2024 Takeaways- If you want to be the elite team you need players who are elite, most the time. Kirby did what he could with the players he had. More elite players are needed at WR and TE. The defense was very good most of the time. The defense didn't fumble the ball and drop passes. - Losing the Robinsons didn't help. Poor starts didn't help and is inexplicable. Right handed passers need exceptional help on the blind side of the O-Line. Most QB's ( on all teams) are not the runners they think they are. Carson had too much dumped on his shoulders. Thorson and Woodring were actually really elite and got way too little credit. You never know when your best or worst game is going to arrive, but they are both definitely coming. Reload. Still love my Dawgs and the guys in the trenches !!! Go Dawgs.

The Dawgs need to go get Matt Luke or someone better than Searels. They need to get a top tier offensive coordinator and get Muschamp back as the DC. The receivers and TE coming in are a step above what is here now. Reddell will cause problems when he gets out there next year and Elyiss Williams is something not even Darnell Washington gave the Dawgs. A 6'7" guy who runs like a WR and has great hands too. Barbour is good too and catches the ball well, unlike some of our current guys.

Notre Dame will get curb stomped if they’re lucky enough to get to the championship. Penn state will too. Notre Dame’s offense really only scored nine points and was very pedestrian. The middle four was where this game was won. The turnover on the ten gave them a TD. Then the kickoff return for a touchdown to began the half. That was the game. Georgia even without the run game, got in the redzone about four or five times and squandered all of them. Credit Notre Dame for not making mistakes, but they won because Georgia couldn’t get out of their own way.
