This is a top 5 team right now just isnt said it a million times im sorry beck is a ok qb but not a top tier qb he may have a little better arm than vandagriff or stockton but their mobility makes them have much better upsides especially when we are throwing so many passes at or behind the line of scrimmage. While at UGA Bobo's offenses averaged 33 PPG (#27.8 in the country, #4.1 in the SEC). In his final three seasons this was 37.8 PPG (#14.3 nationally, #3 in the SEC, including the #8 scoring offense with 40.2 PPG and was the best in the SEC his final year). The year before he got the job we averaged 23.3 PPG, were #57 in the country and #8 in the SEC. To get a good idea of what he was working with talent-wise, in the same span the Georgia defenses averaged allowing 24 PPG (#41.1 nationally, #5.5 in the SEC, in his final three seasons 24.3 PPG, #39.7 nationally, #5.3 in the SEC). In the four years before Bobo left, the average signing class ranking seems strong - avg. #9.75 nationally, but that was also fifth in the SEC over that span (2010-2013). For another point of reference, 2010 Auburn is statistically the worst scoring defense to win a championship in 15 years - is widely acknowledged as having ridden entirely on the offense - and it allowed the same PPG at 24.1 than the Georgia defenses allowed while Bobo was OC. For yet another point of reference, that championship Auburn offense averaged fewer PPG (39.6) than Bobo's last offense at Georgia. Not only was his offense often carrying the defense on its back, he had to be really damn careful because a turnover against a competent offense typically had a decent chance of being in the endzone 3-5 plays later, and the same people griping about "conservative play-calling on 3rd down" would instead have been CRUCIFYING him for being careless with the ball and costing us the game with a turnover.

Cash Jones provides the best hands out of the backfield. So when he’s on the field defenses are expecting pass so when he ran it I just don’t think that’s what they were expecting. So that’s an advantage if he can hit the holes

This georgia team just isn’t last years team. and im having a hardtime to blame our offensive struggles on bobo or just execution. Our o-line hasn’t helped us really at all, and with Beck making mistakes with his field of vision, and plus to we don’t have ladd. and our running backs aren’t 100%, so a lot goes into this, but at the same time i don’t think it’s the playcalling because mentioned in this video we had a lot of 1st downs and we’re still racking up tons of yards like over 400 the last 3 games. That’s really good.

Another slow start. That's got to improve. I thought Beck played real well, especially in the 2nd half. I'm not impressed with our kicker. Just got to do better in the first half. The offense didn't look as bad as they did the first two games, but it still needs to improve. Our d gave up a lot of 3rd downs and failed to get off the field, but they still looked phenomenal. I'm not sold on UGA going all the way. Not really sold on anybody.

Legit 3-peat contender? No. I think Georgia greatly struggles on the road somewhere. Today’s matchup favored the dogs because it was in Athens and it rained which increased the value of the dog’s running attack which was already 100x better than sc’s. In Columbia, this game is a toss up. Yes, you have gotten sc’s best punch to date but our best is still ahead of us this year. I think you guys will play better as well and I was pleasantly surprised by your qb who responded to pressure well and to my disappointment was much better than I had hoped. 3 peating is extremely hard (obviously) and I’m not sure that I saw any stars out there that can take over a game and get you guys over the hump on a truly bad day.

Agreed!!! I said this in Week 1. Basically a whole new team with the exception of a few players on both sides of the ball. New Qb, New OC, wide receivers coming from completely different systems, etc. This is a team that is gonna have to grow throughout the year. They absolutely looked terrible in the first half, but 2nd half play shows they have the potential to grow into a Championship team.

All I can say about the crowd (as someone that was there) is that if you want us to be loud and rockin you gotta put something on the field thats good enough. We didn't have much to cheer for in the 1st half. And when the team actually showed up we got super loud. Its just hard to be ultra loud when we're losing 14-3 and can't do anything on offense

At no point did they play like the #1 team in the country…I’m a die hard fan too but let’s be real here, there’s allot to fix.
