Yes, tires! So important. As you say, they must be properly inflated. Also, as I once found out, they mustn't be past their prime if you want to be racing them. I'm going to put up some video of that incident sometime soon. Crashed my bike after doing "just a couple of more laps" when I knew they were already done. Thanks for subscribing! Much appreciated.

Early 70s all our skateboard wheels were ground into conicals from riding the sides of the San Gabriel "riverbed", trying to get the longest ride by going down on an angle and before you run out of steam angle back uphill and on and on.

@@Superbikefilms1 We use to ride our dirt bikes from Bellflower to a little rinky dink dirt bike park in Cerritos thru that riverbed. It was $1 to get in and you could ride all day if you wanted to. We'd slide our bikes under the fence at the end of Foster Road to get into the riverbed. After a short putt we'd slide them under a fence and ride across a railroad trestle there in Cerritos and we were like within a couple hundred yards of the park. Good times buddyro... good times.

FYI, yes, Capt. Clueless, it IS a riverbed. Also FYI, 'riverbed' is _one word,_ not two. For the record, a riverbed is defined as ''The bed or channel in which a river flows' or 'The bottom of a river.'' It makes zero difference what surface the water happens to flow over. Oh, and by the way...while yes, good guess Mickey, it is made of concrete...technically it's what's known, by _literally anyone_ with a fully functioning cerebrum, as a "flood control channel" (The O.C. maintains 380 miles of them)
