Hello Paul, new Sub here, coming to you from across the pond in New York USA, enjoying your channel tremendously ! Really enjoy getting to see a part of the world that I will probably never get a chance to experience and love all the different cycling cafes you have. Great work, enjoy the ride and I look forward to your next one !

🤭 at least it wasn’t wet to start with. Think it started when we had stopped but we didn’t notice until we were leaving. Didn’t have far left to go from there 🤗

Great video, I find hills hard but love view's when you get to the top, especially in the Borders along the Tweed, I'm working in Nottingham next week 7 till 2, might have a look at some of the route you did in Nottingham.

Nottingham is a decent place to ride!

Nobody seems to have any carrying ability now. Sunday Club runs in the 80s we’re dominated by various carradice / karrimor saddlebags, so you were always prepared with overshoes, cape (!), gloves etc. 2021 seems to consist of cyclists who end up very wet and cold when the weather changes mid ride. 🤷♂️

Hi Greig. I know what you mean but it was actually pretty warm. Tim and I were both wearing water Windproof tops so we didn't actually get properly wet. You don't really see it on the video but I actually have a bar bag on currently with a waterproof in it. Funnily enough I had a similar conversation to yours a few weeks ago talking about trends! 😊

I too was wearing a water repellent and windproof jacket already and bibs with a shower jacket rolled up in my back pocket which I put on after the pit stop, even my toe covers are water repellent, always layer for appropriate weather 👍🏻
