Riding Karst Loop. Return to the Monument Mountain Bike Trails, Hobbs State Park, Northwest Arkansas

Earlier this year, Matt and I rode Wolf Den Loop and the Downhill Trails of the Monument Trails System at Hobbs State Park. Well, we've returned to clean up what we didn't catch before: The beautiful Karst Loop. It's at the back end of the trail system and it skirts the shoreline of Beaver Lake in northwest Arkansas. It was a blast.

Beautiful!! Saved this video to remind me that this trail is a top candidate for a family trip! With scenery to stop and check out (and fossils in the limestone too I hear), the distance and terrain looks like a wide variety of fitness/skill levels could enjoy.

The only issue with kids would be a total lack of bail-out points. Both the Wolf Den and Karst Loops require a commitment.

I don't know when it became a thing but you can only ride it in a CCW direction now.

It is the little zoom and lav combo. The GoPro just hears the motors of the gimbal. The frame... well, that is another story...

Park at the Hobbs State Park visitors center. That is the best place with access to everything.
