a little chassis grease will hold spring in place while installing

suppose with some modifications. This one integrated into the carb, makes setting up a different style tricky.

Now I have bought a brand new carb but this fuek pump that came on the carb isn't working does anyone have any advise does have vacuum bc it worked with another fuel pump so it's doesn't have weak vacuum

Well from what this video is showing I apparently hooks the vacuum and the fuel line opposite is why it wouldn't run 😂

What do I do if I accidentally lot the spring to the fuel pump so they sell one serperatately

How do you test a pump like that one ??

Mongo get a measuring cup and fill with a known amount of Fuel, like 1/2 cup. Then disconnect the fuel line and put into fuel in cup. start engine see if it pulls the fuel out of the cup. Diaphragm pumps are sensitive, need engine vacuum or crankcase pressure to operate (depend on pump) if system is clogged them pump wont operate. Also sensitive to seals, any small break in the seal will cause failure to operate or a small pin hole in the diaphragms will cause failure to operate.
