21.5 miles that day. 42 miles 2 days later. Shooting for another 40 tomorrow. My fitness on the bike will come back relatively quick. My problem is I like to eat too much. 😁

More cycling vids can be found in my cycling playlist here : kzbin.info/aero/PLvnzqXS7TUXMkdTuIxFbs7U39SqbgmQtS&si=Nnnekx58H9ZXNK-J As far as the roads are concerned, many of the routes we take are mainly through back roads, but even when we are on main roads, there is a fairly wide shoulder. Or if the group is large enough, we just take the lane. If you are an avid cyclist, I think you will find the road surfaces to be nothing out of the ordinary. However, I do run a training tire instead of a softer compound racing tire, as well as a tire liner to help prevent frequent flats due to road debris. Two of the main things that usually cause flats on our rides are glass and tiny slivers of metal that cause slow leaks. Again, the tire liner has proven to be a life saver in this regard. bikes are not cheaper there??? I understand more than most that you want your own bike, but I'd consider buying one there n leave it when I'd leave country... Is that a resonable option?

The group in the video met here at this 7-Eleven on a Tuesday at 7am: goo.gl/maps/gFf2uVLcYxgACU3T6 There is another group (PTT Chayaphruk Cycling Group) that meets at a PTT gas station on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Start time varies between 6:30 and 7:00am, so I always plan to arrive at 6:15: goo.gl/maps/GAcFeubYSRnS3iRb9 Another group is Jomtien Cycling Club. When/where is posted on their website: jomtiencyclingclub.jimdofree.com/ I don't know of any places that rent road bikes in Pattaya. But S.V Bike Pattaya has some bikes that are reasonably priced.
