I have a handy tip for starting a fire get a left over paper towel holder fold one end tape it then fill the other end with lint from the dryer as much as possible tape up the other end and keep in your vehicle and use as a starter do the same with toilet paper rolls greetings from southern Ontario Canada

If you like to recycle, you can save toilet paper rolls and lint from the clothes dryer. Stuff the cardboard rolls with the lint and tape the ends. Works great. An even better one is to fill a small mold with sawdust and pour in melted wax. When it sets, just pop it out and pack it for camp.

New subscriber here! I enjoyed your video!! Just a F.Y.I. !!! I’m not sure if your granola had almonds in it or not! Almonds are also bad for dogs!! If you have a way of restraining your puppy in the vehicle, I would!! If you get into a car accident, rear ended or head on, she’ll do flying!! Ni would hate for your dog to be injured. We don’t let babies or children ride un-restrained. I used to be guilty of letting my dog ride on my lap! I thought about what would happen if I was in an accident. I bought a harness that came with a clip that you fasten into the seat belt. I got it from Amazon. It works well!! I put a blanked down on the back seat, clip my dogs harness and seatbelt together, and she’s content!! ❤❤❤ blessings to you!!

Love your little camper, looks like a fabulous trip! I have a grizzly stove in a tiny cabin, best thing ever! I just got some of those sawdust bricks, I haven’t figured out how to cut them down to a better size. Usually the compressed logs you can just bang and they break in half. I noticed you have the sawdust bricks cut down; what’s the easiest way you found to do that? Looking forward to more adventures from you!
@waysoutback
@waysoutback 4 ай бұрын
These little stoves are incredible! That’s great you have a cabin. Where about r you located? The compressed wood blocks we have come that size. We bought them in the states at tsc. They just fit the cubic mini so the grizzly would have no problem. Hope that helps.

How much more does your rear axle weigh then your front axle?? Don't think you have enough weight in the box!! As well to have tied /restrained your two fuel containers as well.
@waysoutback
@waysoutback 3 ай бұрын
My front axle weighs more than my back.
@edwardcarberry1095
@edwardcarberry1095 3 ай бұрын
@@waysoutback As I do not know what the real number should be but I have always said that your rear axle should be 10+% more then the front. No weight in the box is a lot less traction and the front and rear ends exchanging places as one goes down the road where one does not want to go!!
@waysoutback
@waysoutback 3 ай бұрын
I appreciate your concern, especially because it’s safety. There is a lot of weight in the box. The tongue weight of the trailer is 400 pounds plus 2-300 pounds of gear in the box. That is why I have air bag helper springs in the back. We have done two trips across the states, through icy mountain passes with numerous vehicles and trucks including semi’s in the ditch and had no issue. I want to assure you I know Fords very well having been a ford truck mechanic for years, Ford actually has additional training for their mechanics in addition to the 4 year apprenticeship program necessary to become a mechanic here in Canada.
