I agree! Why rush and go the fast way? This is a wonderful use of an older model train. I live in the Philly region and we have a commuter train that's called the "high speed line". It's not very fast, lol....and it seems a similar size to this train. Maybe one day we can get actual high speed rail here and covert our HSL to a restaurant train.

What a great concept. I live in the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S. and there are train tracks all over the place for travel and freight. This would be a great idea to get more people on the rails. Sadly, it would take a lot of convincing of people to try this. My husband and I are coming to Japan in 2024, so this is on our list to try. Thanks for sharing your experience. Your videos are just wonderful and so helpful. Peace and blessings!

Очень красивые пейзажи видны из окна. Поезд даёт время насладиться видами природы. Из Синкансена не хватит времени разглядеть горы и долины, покрытые зеленью. Спасибо за это видео.

전통적인 분위기에 도시락을 먹을 수 있는 기차라 좋네요. 일본은 음식이 항상 깔끔해 보입니다. 특이한 기차 소개 잘 보았습니다. 어린이들이 기차를 보고 손을 흔드네요~ 신기합니다. 저는 혼자 여행을 다녀서 커플이 같이 다니는 모습이 부럽습니다. 일본 여행을 가게 되면 이 영상을 참고해서 이 기차를 꼭 타보겠습니다~. 우에다 캐슬이 있군요. 캐슬을 좋아해서 우에다 캐슬에도 가보고 싶네요. 디저트도 맛있어 보입니다.

That didn’t look no western food to me. But other than that lie (like they lied to you big time) it looked like a lot of fun. Nice quite little trip and ride. I love trains, they are so peaceful.

the food itself was western, however it lacked side dishes and was served in a very Japanese way. These kind of "plate-staining" servings are done in luxury western restaurants (not the kind I visit for sure lol)
